Chapter 309: Rescue Arrives!

"Just as pear blossoms bloom all over the world, a soft veil floats on the river—"

This famous song, composed before the war, is now resounding across the battlefield below with its loud and lively rhythm.

Another tank carrying a new political commissar charged to the front line. He held up a megaphone, sang loudly, and waved a pistol, guiding the soldiers' charge. He was so openly exposed, attracting attention with his loud voice. He probably wouldn't live long and would be dragged out and eaten by werewolves. But these political commissars didn't care. They only had fanaticism in their eyes, and only under their leadership would these soldiers be more courageous!

Wave after wave of seemingly incessant artillery fire and bullets gradually suppressed the werewolf charge. Apart from the new werewolves who had lost their minds, Greyback's own werewolf army was gradually overwhelmed by the human army in this war.

Undeterred by death, the soldiers charged forward singing songs. The werewolves couldn't see their expressions behind their gas masks, but the muffled singing emanating from their hazmat suits unexpectedly instilled some fear in them.

Even outside of a full moon night, werewolves possess reason; they are beings who know fear. They feel pain and can die, let alone try to move this torrent of steel with their own flesh and blood.

"Dumbledore! Join forces!" Greyback was covered in wounds. His massive size attracted a barrage of fire. The steel chariot pulled by eight strong werewolves had been blown over. The mindless wolves howled and lay on the ground, only able to gasp for breath.

The werewolf king is still fighting. His massive army will not be annihilated anytime soon, but the situation is already dire.

Covered in blood that was hard to tell was his own or human blood, Graybury turned back in a gruesome manner and shouted at the sky. His powerful voice was audible to everyone.

"Old man! What are you waiting for!" Voldemort cursed. "Those beasts are the best cannon fodder. If you wait until they are wiped out, do you expect your students to take bullets for you?" He knew Muggle weapons quite well and despised but did not look down on these mortals.

Below, Hermione, the members of the Order of the Phoenix, and the Death Eaters awaited the decision from above.

Should they join forces or continue the chaotic battle?

To be honest, if their master hadn't been trapped up there, these selfish dark wizards would have run away long ago.

But, should they really join forces?

Not only Dumbledore, but also the teachers and students of Hogwarts had doubts.

These inhuman Death Eaters use children to prolong their lives!

These werewolves that feed on human flesh are no longer human!

If they join forces with them to fight against Muggles, will Hogwarts' stance and sense of justice be affected?

Although thinking about these things at such a critical juncture of life and death is really superfluous, the White Wizards are used to thinking about issues from the perspective of justice, and it is difficult for them to dispel their doubts.

In the sky, Dumbledore looked down, making it impossible for Voldemort to see the old man's expression, but this brief silence had already made him impatient.

Just as he was about to urge them, a series of sharp, piercing sounds came from above Black Lake to the south.

"Hopefully we're not too late!"

"The Irish Green Eagles! Coming to the rescue!" Everyone looked in the direction of the voice.

A group of dozens of wizards, cloaked in emerald green and riding brooms, were approaching at high speed from the air.

"The Malfoy air cavalry wanted to play a friendly match with us, but they dragged it out for far too long! Their intentions were too obvious!" Hermione finally realized that the leader of this air column was none other than Scrimgeour, the representative from Emerald Eagle Island who had attended the Board of Governors meeting!

Inside the tower where the students were, Wood excitedly pointed to a man in the air: "That's my dad! He's here too!"

"Dumbledore! Not just us, but many students' parents too!" Scrimgeour shouted, looking up at the sky.

"They won't stand by and watch their child be bullied!"

Only then did everyone realize that behind their professional and fast aerial column, there were nearly a hundred small black dots that were rapidly growing larger and flying towards them.

"It's reinforcements! Mom and Dad have come to help!" the children in the castle cheered excitedly.

Although they were quite confident about the Hogwarts relocation, and the battle did indeed proceed as the professors had planned in the first half,

But when the unexpected Muggle army appeared, everyone's hearts skipped a beat.

They are, after all, professors and students; hundreds of families have children here, and thousands of parents are concerned about them.

If something were to happen to Hogwarts, it would be the most devastating loss for the wizarding world.

Fortunately, although Malfoyburg did manage to delay these people for a while using dirty tactics, they still arrived at the most crucial moment.

"Green Eagles! Destroy that position!" Scrimgeour, a seasoned leader, immediately led his air cavalry towards the eastern highlands after giving the order.

The Muggles' artillery fire couldn't hit the agile flying broomsticks, while the wizards could easily bombard them from above.

The unexpected support caused Voldemort's face to darken once again.

"You don't actually think that you can defeat the Muggle army with these wizards of varying skill levels, do you?"

He pointed into the distance: "Look over there! Countless armies are emerging from the fairy cave!"

"Even if you work them to death, you still can't kill that many people!"

But Dumbledore suddenly laughed, turning his head to the other side, to the northwest, to the towering mountains between the Forbidden Forest and Hogsmeade.

"They've arrived too."

As Dumbledore spoke, a deep horn suddenly sounded from behind the mountains.

Immediately following was a dense fog, and then a blazing red light emanating from behind it.

"Nagil, people have probably almost forgotten about it," Dumbledore said in a complicated tone.

As he spoke, a huge, imposing black ship mysteriously rose up from behind the mountains.

Immediately afterwards, the earth and rocks turned into molten lava in an instant, and the long ship was actually sailing on the lava!

This unexpected arrival of yet another surprise force has once again drawn everyone's attention.

Hermione spotted it with her sharp eyes: standing at the very front of the longship was none other than Krum, holding a broom!

"It's Nagirfa! Durmstrang's Nagirfa!" Moody shouted.

In an instant, all the older wizards remembered the black ships that had once ravaged the battlefield alongside Grindelwald!

Named after the ship owned by the fire giants of the land of fire in Norse mythology, it was a ship that transported hordes of giants, monsters, and armies of the dead during Ragnarok!

Durmstrang's most powerful weapon of war! A magical ship capable of sailing anywhere!

Durmstrang, skilled in combined spellcasting, and his students could transform anything they encountered into lava using polymorphism while remaining inside the ship's cabins. Their overwhelming magical firepower, along with the mobile air cavalry surrounding the longship, made Nagilfa the most terrifying mobile fortress on the battlefield.

"The Black King is enraged by the shamelessness of the Soviet Union. The army of the shamans has already marched into Siberia!" Krum, with his booming voice, loudly proclaimed.

"Demstrang will come to support Hogwarts on behalf of three of Europe's top universities!"

His expression was unreadable, but with a whistle, his air cavalry took off from the longship.

"I think I no longer need to make a choice." Dumbledore turned his head and smiled at Voldemort.

"Tom, let's continue the fight."

Before the words were finished, a beam of bright moonlight suddenly shone from the castle, and then, a large, round moon, shrouded in clouds, rose abruptly from the top of the tower.

"Ha, she finally couldn't hold back!" the old ghost laughed.
