Chapter 288 The True Form of the Pied Piper

"You left the well, could it be—" Snape said in a trembling, excited voice.

"Not bad." Voldemort smiled with satisfaction.

"I have accomplished it. I have escaped death, transcended death, and become the master of death!" He reached out and clenched his fist, and an invisible force turned the lush plants around him into withered wood, while he seized some of the verdant greenery and took it into his palm.

"It wasn't for nothing that I endured those past few months, holding my nose and putting up with that old bastard jumping around on my head." Voldemort breathed a sigh of relief.

More dark figures emerged from the forest; Bella, Rodolphus, and many other Death Eaters had arrived!

"Now, I have completed my final transformation, and nothing can kill me anymore! The well is no longer my constraint; I have no weaknesses, and I stand at the pinnacle of this world!"

His voice was so powerful that neither Greyback nor the Pied Piper dared to interrupt him.

Neither werewolves nor biphasics can protect themselves in front of this person.

"You've come here now!" Snape looked up with fervor.

"I've come to witness the destruction of Hogwarts, to personally destroy everything Dumbledore cherished," Voldemort laughed gleefully.

"I'll show him that my death magic surpasses his! And he can only weep among the rubble of the castle! He can only guard his broken body and bury his descendants!"

To swallow one's anger and be bullied at one's doorstep is simply because one's transformation is not yet complete!

Now, he has broken free from the shackles of the past and has become even stronger!

How could he, who was so vengeful, not immediately return to seek revenge? No matter how much more satisfying it is to do it yourself, it's never as good as relying on others!

"That's absolutely right!" Graybury changed his expression and approached with a big smile.

"These people have only encountered a few setbacks, and they're already clamoring to give up. How can they possibly achieve anything great like that!"

"Only someone like you, who can endure temporary humiliation, accumulate strength, and forge ahead bravely, can become the king who rules the land!"

Although he proclaimed himself the werewolf king and wanted to create a new race and civilization in the world, Voldemort has clearly gone a step further and may have reached Grindelwald's level. Submitting to him is not a humiliation.

"The Lord of Death" watched with interest as Greyback approached. Just over a month ago, this man had been swaggering around outside the Albanian forest, thinking that since he had been humiliated by Dumbledore, he could now speak loudly as well.

"Isn't this our esteemed Werewolf King? What's wrong? Is the plan to attack Hogwarts encountering difficulties?"

Graybury, seemingly oblivious to the sarcasm in the words, laughed and replied, "As you can see, in this Forbidden Forest, the centaurs have been holding back my army, and the mermaids have been bogged down by the awakened giant squid. We have lost our underwater allies."

"Lily Potter is performing an unknown ritual by the Black Lake—."

"And this Pied Piper from Malfoyburg decided to withdraw simply because his first probing attack failed."

Voldemort glanced casually at Pied Piper, who was hiding among the Amphicos as if facing a formidable enemy.

"If you can't even handle a small centaur tribe, don't even think about taking down Hogwarts. You'll have to deal with that yourselves." He didn't even glance at Greyback again.

"As for this Pied Piper—"

He hesitated for a moment. "You may know that, because of Lucius, my relationship with Malfoyburg—"has always been fairly good, but unfortunately he's imprisoned now."

"After destroying Hogwarts, I need a new person who can speak for me in Malfoy Castle to repair our relationship."

He spoke in a grand and respectable manner, but in reality, Voldemort simply kidnapped or tricked many children from Malfoy Castle.

The so-called repair of relations was merely a hope that Malfoyburg would be more inclined to side with them in the future.

With one of his own people on the surface and Barty Jr. added on the inside, he would have a greater chance of influencing Malfoy's decisions and reaping greater benefits.

Having transcended death, he could finally begin to pursue other things—power, status, pleasures—things befitting a long life.

In his vision, Dumbledore, the Corpse Keeper, along with his Hogwarts, would be destroyed in this war. At that time, Malfoy Castle would need a new top-tier fighting force to rely on, otherwise Grindelwald's army would cross the Channel in an instant and bring Fiendfire to their city.

"I'm just a nobody running errands, I can't decide these things," Pied Piper said in a hoarse voice. He just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible and regretted his decision to come and say goodbye to the werewolf king and, incidentally, disgust him.

The biphasic monsters surrounding him couldn't put his mind at ease either. These dark creatures were terrified as if they had seen the Grim Reaper himself. Yaxley never expected that, besides the Guardian God, there was something else that could make them fear.

"Come on, Yaxley." Voldemort suddenly called out his real name.

A mocking smile appeared on that pale, ugly face: "You think this ridiculous pretense can fool me?"

"When I visited Malfoy, you were still following your parents around asking for candy; your accent was so obvious."

The Pied Piper took a step back in shock, then realized his lapse in composure.

He steadied his steps, composed himself, and simply removed the covering from his body.

This was a fierce-looking man, a little taller than Snape, who gripped the magic flute tightly in his hand and had a solemn expression.

"Master of the Yaxley family, I never expected the Pied Piper to be you," Snape said with a complicated tone.

Despite being one of the twenty-eight pure-blood families, he actually stepped in to deal with Hogwarts.

Yaxley snorted: "It's much safer outside the city than inside. With the magic flute in my hands, even if the entire Yaxley family is destroyed, I can rebuild it."

"Alright, Yaxley, I don't want to hear any more." Voldemort waved his hand.

"My request is simple, and I don't need an immediate answer from you."

"After this Hogwarts affair is over, you will personally take my words back and tell them to your council."

He stared at Yaxley: "Lucius can be Speaker, there's no reason why you can't, right?"

These words made Yaxley's heart skip a beat. His family was not a big family among purebloods. If it weren't for the magic flute and his marriage to Black, he might not even be remembered.

But if Voldemort were to support him in the future, it might actually be possible to try and compete for the position of Speaker of the House of Malfoy.

Even if it's just a puppet!

"I will pass on your message," he said in a muffled voice.

"Very good." Voldemort nodded in satisfaction.

He naturally took over command, while Graybury didn't utter a single word.

"As for Lily Potter, what kind of potion ritual are you talking about?" he turned to Snape and asked.

The latter nodded: "Little Barty was protecting her, I couldn't catch her." He deliberately emphasized Little Barty's name. Yaxley and Greyback, who were present, did not know about Little Barty; it was a secret within their Death Eaters.

"He's actually sending him to protect her?" Voldemort pondered for a moment.

Although he has now completed his transformation and is confident that he can surpass Dumbledore again in death magic, he is also very interested in the old man's research.

Little Batty seems to be lying in wait, entrusted with important tasks. If he can seize this opportunity to make a great contribution...

Lily Potter can die anytime, as long as the potion ritual fails. Barty and Snape can work together from the inside to create the illusion of risking their lives to save that woman, in order to gain the trust of Hogwarts. He was planning this in his mind when he looked at Axley.

"Your Magic Flute and the Two-Phase Monster are very useful, but it's a waste to use them to hold Dumbledore off. I'll make that old man out of it. As for you—Lily Potter, what are you up to? The werewolves can't find her anyway."

"Snape, you and Yaxley together should be able to take her down, right?"

The Potions Master nodded in agreement. This was a performance, a show put on for both Hogwarts and Greyback.

Although we can't contact Little Barty yet, with his intelligence, he'll understand immediately if we just show a little leniency or say a few strange things.

The overwhelming presence of biphasic monsters was intended to create the impression of a decisive victory, making Hogwarts value Barty Jr.'s contribution even more.
