Chapter 502 Shiva's Gentle Dance

Chapter 502 Shiva's Gentle Dance

The entire three-story palace of the Eiffel Tower was now completely sealed off.

A heavy, viscous magical energy enveloped the air, making it impossible to enter either the skylight above or the massive iron gate in front.

But these obstacles didn't work on Hermione; it seemed as if the powers belonging to Grindelwald had left a door open just for her.

She left Adam waiting outside while she effortlessly flew into the dark palace.

The sight inside astonished her.

She had initially thought that Grindelwald was just slightly mentally unstable and needed her help to suppress it, but now the hall was in complete chaos.

The black and red flames were imprisoned in the palace, raging and roaring violently. All the facilities, furniture, and fabrics in the hall were reduced to ashes, except for the walls, which survived thanks to Grindelwald's deliberate protection.

Hermione could only brace herself against the silver rune shield formed by magic and slowly make her way forward.

Grindelwald remained seated on his throne, but his upper body was now split in two, from head to chest, neatly separated on either side, his two eyes of different colors staring intently at Hermione.

From the center of his split body, an ever-deepening black flame formed an eye that resembled a vertical pupil or a crack, from which endless fierce fire spewed forth.

"Suppress—fire—" The Dark Lord was not dead yet, but he clearly had no more strength left to suppress the Fiery Blaze. Although his mouth was split in two, more than a meter apart, he could still barely make a sound under the effect of the magic.

"How did it get like this!" Hermione frowned, not daring to delay any longer.

The dark celestial body at the tip of the staff was unsealed and began to absorb large amounts of black flames from the palace.

She herself continuously released runes from her palms, forcefully extinguishing the fierce flames clinging to various places under the blessing of the Order Runes.

Her movements were undeniably fast, but Grindelwald's spray was even more efficient.

Perhaps because he had held out until Hermione's arrival, the old man's mind relaxed somewhat, and after another explosion, even more violent Fiendfire erupted forth.

The ancient darkness can only absorb so much fiery energy, especially the fiery energy spewed out by the Great Destruction Rune, which has a power more terrifying than a nuclear reactor explosion and will quickly burn through it.

Hermione could only increase her magical supply to reseal the now-hot dark celestial body back into her staff.

Fortunately, as the runes gradually spread out, Grindelwald also sprawled on the chair, trying his best to cooperate. She was gradually surrounding the Fiendfire and compressing it inward.

But suddenly, with another burst of black flames, a twisted human figure crawled out from the deep, dark crack!

"What's going on?! The old man ate someone?!"

The figure struggled to climb over the crevice and stood up in a bizarre posture, like an aberrant species.

It wore the black robes that the Fiery Army often wore, but above its head was only a blazing Fiery Flame!

It held the standard wand of the Sorcerers, and its faceless, black, flame-like head seemed to be staring intently at Hermione.

The next moment, the attack came suddenly, and the roaring fire snakes pounced on the witch.

But it was immediately crushed by the hand of light formed by Rune.

Hermione frowned; she had no idea what was going on.

But the situation continued to worsen; with the appearance of that fiery-headed creature, even more fiery-headed creatures crawled out from the cracks.

They were like Grindelwald, or rather, the Blackflame's kin, launching a frenzied attack on Hermione the moment they landed.

Their strength isn't particularly high, but it's definitely greater than that of the average UMNO.

However, the only thing that can be controlled here is Grindelwald's Fiendfire, so the total number of enemies Hermione has to deal with hasn't changed.

Like a vast net woven into the palace walls, the brilliant white light shimmered, gradually pushing back the black flames.

From Hermione's side, waves of powerful Brilliant Stone meteors erupted, utterly shattering the Fiendheads one by one.

Like phantoms, once they die, they shatter into pieces of black fire, merging into the surrounding environment, which prevents the situation from improving significantly.

And yet, a steady stream of fiery heads continued to emerge from the cracks.

Hermione wanted to test Grindelwald's strength. Having mastered the complete new runes, she was theoretically capable of fighting the Dark Lord on equal terms, though only in theory; her destructive power was far inferior.

A vibrant white light burst forth from his palm, and countless tender green shoots suddenly sprouted from the charred floor. Even the all-consuming flames could not burn as fast as the growth.

Thanks to the old man's deliberate suppression, Hermione's power temporarily withstood the destructive attack.

As the Fiery Heads staggered out one by one, the flames on their bodies gradually weakened under the white light, while pale bones and plump flesh slowly emerged from the fire.

"!?"

What shocked her even more than the creation of humans from the fire was that these creatures, which were gradually regaining their human form, all looked very familiar!

"Skeet!?" The one with the obvious insect-like appearance, wearing a woman's blouse, isn't that the beetle lady who was just downstairs giving me an exclusive interview?

Then, emerging from behind were Regulus, Clara the Younger, Nagel the Elder, and other saints.

Their faces were expressionless, their bodies wreathed in eerie flames, and their newly healed flesh gradually scorched and withered in the black flames.

"No! They're not real people! They're monsters that crawled out of Grindelwald's black flames!"

The Finger Witch frowned, wondering why this was happening.

These pseudo-Witches remained silent, brandishing their wands and mobilizing the raging Fiendfire around them to attack Hermione.

However, without the cooperation of Grindelwald, the master who destroyed the Great Rune, their attack was really not very powerful. Hermione crushed them all with just a casual glance.

But that only turned them back into Fiendfire, and new ones kept crawling out from the dark fiery cracks.

"Time-Transformer"

Perhaps sensing the stalemate, Grindelwald managed to speak again.

Hermione looked at him and saw his body split in two, and his right hand resting on the armrest of the chair, pointing to one side with his finger.

It was a brass chain lying on the ground, with a badly damaged and almost twisted pocket watch attached to the end.

It lay quietly on the ground, the spatial-temporal force attached to it protecting that small floorboard from the fierce fire.

Grindelwald once used this to resist the annihilation storm of the Great Time Mother Mythical Species. Hermione didn't think much about why the old man would carry such a rare magical item with him, which had virtually no use.

With a simple reach, the time converter instantly appeared.

She studied it briefly but didn't know how to use it. If she didn't use it properly, it would cause a lot of trouble, so she simply put it back into Grindelwald's hand.

"You use it, and I'll assist you in controlling the Fiery Blaze!"
